After listening to Peter Levine's recording, students are invited to create a poster that expresses their vision of “The America I Want.”
Each poster must include:
One original image, created by the student
The Poster should be 8 1/2 X 11 in a Portrait Format
One short original slogan, 3 to 7 words
The image and slogan should work together to communicate a clear idea.
This is not a persuasive or partisan exercise. Instead, students are encouraged to reflect on democratic values, civic responsibility, and the role individuals and communities play in sustaining a democracy.
